Kevin Light / Biography

I'm a freelance photographer and Olympic athlete based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. In 2008 I won an Olympic gold medal in the sport of rowing at the Beijing Olympics in China. I have had an interest in Photography since the age of 12 when my Dad took me to the Molson Indy Vancouver; bought me a disposable camera and taught me to pan with the race cars as they sped past. Currently my focus tends to be on sports photography but following the 2012 Olympic games in London, England I plan to retire from rowing and focus on improving my skills in all aspects of photography.
